Payment

Wisconsin Medicaid/Autism Waiver Funding: Families without eligible insurance may be covered by Wisconsin Medicaid (ForwardHealth). ForwardHealth registration and prior authorization is required, which can involve some time to gain eligibility and authorization for services. CHATT sends families a checklist so they know what ForwardHealth requires to pre-approve them.

Most Major Insurances accepted: Public and fully-funded Wisconsin insurance plans were required to cover autism therapy starting in 2010, so your insurance company may cover reimbursement. Most self-funded or out-of-state companies unfortunately will not. Parents should contact their employer and insurance company to check on insurance coverage. CHATT is currently contracted, in-network with the following insurance companies: Aetna, Anthem (BCBS), Dean, Humana, Multiplan PHCS, PBA, Trilogy, WEA Trust, WPS.
